All of us will live and love and experience loss before our time here is done. It is the loss of things that makes us appreciate what we still have. It is the bitter taste of poverty that makes prosperity so sweet. How can we celebrate triumph if we have not faced defeat? We live each day not knowing from moment to moment what we will have to face, not knowing what tomorrow holds. But it is a great comfort to know who holds tomorrow. Tomorrow is not in the hands of anybody. Tomorrow is not yours to manipulate. It is not mine to dominate. Tomorrow is in the hands of the Lord. Whatever you do, take time to speak to him because you will need him before the morning.
